Reheating

SWEET POTATO CRUNCH:

Set oven for 350 degrees. Cook with lid off for 45 minutes to an hour. If frozen simply add an additional 10- 15 minutes.

MACARONI & CHEESE:

Set oven for 350 degrees. Cook with lid off for 45 minutes to an hour.

GREEN/BAKED/CAJUN PINTO BEANS: Set oven for 350 degrees. Cook with lid on for 45 minutes to an hour.

TO UNFREEZE MEAT:

The best way to do this is by putting the meat into the fridge for a day or so to unthaw. Just like you would a turkey. Once the meat is thawed and you are ready to reheat, follow the directions for rewarming cold meat.

REWARMING COLD MEAT:

Set oven for 190 to 200 degrees. It will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes per pound to heat up. If in a pan, you want to make sure to keep the lid on the pan. It is suggested that the meat be checked every 15 minutes or so, stirring it on occasion so it will heat thoroughly. If the meat seems to be drying out, a little bit of water can be added to the pan for steaming. You do not want the meat to be sitting in water,r so you do not need to add more than a tablespoon.

REWARMING A TURKEY or BUTT FROM COLD:

Set oven for 190 to 200 degrees. Make sure the butt or turkey is well wrapped in foil and is in a pan. It will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes per pound to heat up. Another way to check that the meat is ready is to check the internal temperature. It needs to be between 150/160 degrees.

TO KEEP MEAT WARM:

Set oven to 160 degrees. The meat must be well wrapped and in a pan, or if already in a pa,n with the lid on. It can stay in the oven for several hours.
